Siem Reap/Angkor Wat or Hanoi/Halong Bay?

    My first time in Angkor wat was in April. Hit 40C with near 100% humidity. Was tough treking around the temples in that but the torrential rain that hit everyday at 4pm really cools it down.

    I'd recommend minimum 3 days in AW preferably a week to do it justice though. It really is spectacular

    I also think Ankgor deserves more time, as does Cambodia. I'd go when you have a week to spend.

    if you already have / going to get a Chinese visa, why not pick another destination there? Zhangjiajie for example.

    I will have a two weeks journey in China in May. Then, I was thinking to spent these short weekends visiting something else...
    But by now, AW seems to be the worst choice!
