Unnacompagned minor in flight from the South of France to HK

    Hi,

I would like to invite in HK my young brother (he is 10).
He lives in the South of France.
Do you have any idea or tips to make travel as a unnacompagned minor child ?
Have you ever done it ?

I would be very interested in having some feedbacks.

    Thanks,

    L

Unaccompanied children : assistance for children traveling alone - Air France

5 to 14 years of age
On international flights provided by Air France, children 5 to 14 years of age who are traveling alone are required to travel as Unaccompanied Minors (UM). Air France staff provides continuous supervision as part of our Kids Solo service.

This service is subject to an extra fee, between €50 and €75 each way depending on the distance traveled.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your answer.
I've tried the Air France non accompagned minor for my brother but it was for short flight.

The AirFrance fees are infortunately quite expensive.

    L,
The fees quoted of Euro 50 to 75 seem quite reasonable to me given all the extra work involved, or are the fees different to those quoted above?

If you are concerned, then go for a direct flight, even if it costs more.

Absolutely! Last thing you need is an unaccompanied kid missing a connection!
