ID Travel / ZED Fare Question

    Hi everyone,

We’re traveling to Europe next month, and will be using ZED fares to get around. It used to be my understanding that ZED tickets were interchangeable with other ZED carriers on the same route. However, in the interline listing agreements on the CX website; it advises tickets will be valid for travel on that specific airline only. Now that I have the ZED tickets in my hands, they are all endorsed with ‘valid on eworld’. I’m not sure what ‘eworld’ is? Can anyone shed any light? Does this mean they are in fact interchangeable with other carriers?

    Thanks a bunch

    Lali

You're more likely to get an answer to this on a specialist Cathay/aircrew forum - try the Fragrant Harbour forum at PPRuNe Forums - Professional Pilots Rumour Network , or AirlineCrew.net - Bulletin Board for Airline Crew

Regular ID tickets are only valid on the airline you are travelling with and listed for. I think a one world ticket can be used on other one world carriers otherwise your ticket needs to say where you are going and with whom.
