Check thoroughly where the gifts are made from.

I once did a presentation in Japan, after which the local client gave us a goodie bag which included a number of the client’s own products. This was a range of toiletries/shampoos/lotions.
Immediately upon walking out the front door, my Japanese colleagues checked the provenance of each of the items. Anything marked “Made in China” was immediately dumped into the trash bin, on the pavement right outside the client’s office building.

    Not worth queueing for, IMO.

Never had the pleasure of trying one.
Is there a place to taste one or 2 without queueing up for it?
Alternatively, is there a time when there isn't a queue ?

Frozen fishballs? Kits to make egg waffles. Congee bowls, tea sets from the Ladies Market, ornate tins of biscuits from Kee Wah bakeries are also good. I buy them for my Swedish inlaws and my 90 yr old nan in Oz.

I was about to lie ( bloody terrible at that being so direct it peeves passive aggressive people off.) and say,, " yes! However, it wasn't. Me. I tend to secretly place them in places one doesn't notice until the stench kicks in...

Go to the resellers. Pop into the mall next to Chungking Mansions (the one where Jenny's Bakery is) and you'll see stalls selling them. Alternatively, pop into any of the local pharmacies next to isquare along Lock Road/Peking Road and you'll find them there.
