Hi,

If she will be working, the Temporary Work (Short Stay Activity) visa (subclass 400) is the one to apply for I believe.
If she's going on holiday, then she applies for the usual tourist visa.
Note: The DIBP takes these things seriously.

She will be helping as she does here. But naturally she will be given plenty of time off to explore

So she'll be working, therefore she'll need the Temporary Work visa, which costs A$175. If she's caught working on a tourist visa, she could be deported and denied entry for three years.
This is all on the relevant website. Are you asking for a way around it?

Temporary Work (Short Stay Activity) (Subclass 400)
This visa allows for the temporary entry of people intending to:
- Undertake short-term, non-ongoing highly specialised work
- Participate in non-ongoing cultural or social activities at the invitation of an Australian organisation
- Domestic helpers accompanying their employer on holidays.

cheers. yeah i found the way to that site too.
i wasn't asking for a way around it, but if you know of a legal loop hole then i'm all ears
although not really required as the for 400 visa is pretty clear
