Hi all - just wanted to see if anyone has been to Hawaii, and if there are any more affordable flights there from other airports in the region, compared to HK?

Air China is usually the cheapest. And the best flight times, i.e. depart HK evening and Hawaii evening.
But I booked with United as they were the cheapest when I looked - Air China was completely full.
Cheapest I have seen for Air China is marginally above HKD4k return from HKG

I went through Seoul when I went to Honolulu and believe it was on Asiana Airlines.
