Air China Flight Almost Crashes into Tai O 4/6/17

Hasn't been picked up in English press yet but looks like the incident occurred on yesterday's CA428 Hong Kong to Chengdu service.

The plane turns far too early after taking-off and has to rapidly climb to avoid the hills.

The autopilot was flying it.

Jut the pilot had set it with a take off configuration heading towards the East.

It’s an Air China plane. Whatever the direction they travel, it is always to the East.

Sorry to be frank, but the pilots concerned should be locked up. As should the Airline for employing them in the first place. Total Muppets!
Safety Standards are simply shocking in most Chinese Airlines, and you wouldn't get me on any of them.
Value your life and fly with Cathay or Dragon, whose standards are exemplary!
