    HK hotel deals (staycation)

    Hi

Looking to do a night or two in a fancy hotel in HK.

Apart from hitting the usual hotel booking websites (and the hotel specific websites), are there any specific deal websites or TA's around? Do HK hotels offer promos for HK residents?

    Thanks in advance.

Give Upperhouse a call. They are offering my company a pretty decent deal for a stay during the summer as they are pretty quiet. Might make you an offer...

Otherwise I have stayed at the Grand Hyatt in the past - hard to beat a day at that pool...

pin wouldn't you rather spend the money on another phone rather than a night or two in a fancy hotel?

Agree, Upper House is just top-notch, I couldn't enjoy it more. and the price/quality are reasonable

Got a club room. Benefit was unlimited usage of the Club lounge which included food pretty much every two hours and unlimited drinks (including verve champagne). We arrived at 10.30 on Saturday, so could have breakfast. Room wasn't ready until 12 (normal check in is at 2), so just hung around the lounge chilling.

Good room views (esp cause we are so high up).

Checked out at 3 the next day. Had afternoon tea set (as well as breakfast and lunch) and left at about 4.

Ritz Club facilities are some of the best in town. You don't need to spend anything on F&B if you have access. Too many others have very limited coverage now (in terms of timing and offerings) as part of cost-savings.

So this was not so much a "staycation" as a "eatathon"?

I often book club rooms when I travel and never spend any money on food. The Marco Polo in Ortigas even has sandwiches at lunch time (many only do breakfast and evening snacks) so you have that covered too!
