NEW: Facial recognition entry to USA

Well it may be new or old news, but when I entered the US, I went up to the global entry machine, and the machine took my picture and pulled up all of my details without inserting my passport. It printed a machine receipt and that was to be handed to the immigration officer. I was not even required to present or take out my passport to gain entry. Wicked tech!!

I'll get to find out if LAX is equipped with the same tech in a few weeks.

Would be fun if they identified the daughter who is being held in Canada as Ivanka, when she is transported to the US.

I think its because you are using Gobal Entry not like the peasants going through the regular channel.

It's new. Last I reentered the U.S. using Global Entry, it required finger prints and showing the printed form to an official. Now granted the official waved everyone through without so much as lifting his head but there was still that formality.

That's the deal (ala Trump). Faster and safer. And a longer lasting passport.
