It takes 852 number. I saw foreigners use Didi.

I always book Didi through WeChat, that way I can pay with my HK credit card.

    2) Didi from Shenzhen Bay check point to other location in Shenzhen, around 10-50 yuan
probably even cheaper if you take a didi from huanggang to HKU

At the China side Shenzhen bay check point, there are public buses, free buses, taxi stand and app car to choose.

But you better have your Shenzhen destination address in Chinese handy with you.

You pay extra for convenience I guess. We used a door to door service to visit Chimelong in Zuhai, and that was 700-800. Whilst in Zuhai we used apps for local taxis.

I’ve done this a few times, I was thinking these drivers are making decent money if they have regular clients. It’s about $800-1k from Shenzhen Baoan to my home in Kowloon then they’d drop me off in say Tst for dinner. It was for work so my company paid for this but I definitely wouldn’t if it was out of my own pocket

But then I'd end up paying foreign currency fees to my bank in HK. If you have a fee-free card/enough rewards to offset it then it's fine. But if you only have a cheap card like me then WeChat HK will do the conversion fee-free.
