Yes, I think it was supposed to be salty, but not inedible. Yikes

Going to Venetian is a good idea, since you can sail in the Grand Canal, and also shop!~

And if you are staying in a hotel, you can also enjoy the sunshine, and just relax!~

Book a package from one of the travel agents at the Macau ferry pier. That way you generally get a good deal on the hotels. You won't get the Lisboa for HK$5-700 a night. While Macau is small, the Venetian is on the Taipa Strip, the Lisboa is on the main part.

Mid budget hotels you could try include Pousada de Mong Ha, Beverley Plaza, Grandview, Ritz/Riveria and Best Western Taipa. However, these hotels are mainly just for sleeping - you are not going to get luxury. If you want that pay more.

Lisboa is not close to venetian, they are in different areas, but Macau itself is not big, so dont worry about the traffic. Transportation is amazing in Macau because casinoes want to offer convenience to the travellers.

Hotels in Macau are not cheap too, from my points of view, they are more expensive than HK, but with 700 HKD or MOP you can still have a middle class room.

    Hope it can help.
