You are honestly asking??
1.) Airport Train, every 8 minutes or so... 23mins to HK Island, Central Station. One way ticket 100HK$, same day return also 100HK$.
2.) Taxi, around 250 - 350HK$
3.) You swim to HK Island, not recommended... might take a while.
Is it free to swim, I'll do it, just kidding. Thank you David 4d quick reply.
The airport express train is probably the easiest way. The station is in the airport so you cant miss it. You can get discount tickets if there are more people travelling. If you are staying in a hotel then hotel run courtesy shuttle buses from Central Station. If not, jump in a taxi.
All quite simple!
Get the MTR from Central to Tung Chung for $23.10 with an Octopus Card. Change to an Airport Bus from the transport interchange (5 mins and about $11 on an Octopus Card). Obviously repeat in reverse if you're coming from the airport.
Only takes an extra half hour and you've saved yourself an easy fifty bucks. My work here is done.
If you mean the public transportation, like "A"s and "E"s coded buses, then it requires a knowledge of the area/region. Not good for somebody who doesn't have a good knowledge about HK.Originally Posted by mercury_element:
Not so difficult for the busses. I agree the number "E" busses are a bit messy but CityFlyers (number Axx) are not that slow and its easy to find out at the airport which one suits you best. And take a cab after you get off the bus (you have saved enough even after this plus sometimes its more convinient).
The train is the really best option and, if you are flying Cathay Pacific in, a good value with the coupon on their website, assuming you need a 30-day return ticket.
