Beach Resorts nearby with 2 bedroom suites?

i have family visiting in a few weeks and im struggling to find a weekend getaway. Im hoping someone here can help:

5 adults
3 nights
target budget: HK $3K (including flight)
Preferred 4 star or 5 star resorts
something on a nice beach with fun family atmosphere

Some target areas:
Phuket
Kota Kinabalu
Sanya

We would like to find (if possible) a resort that offers a villa or suite with more then 1 bed. Seems tough to find in my searches thus far, but we just want a nice place with maybe 2 bedrooms so that family can all stay together. This is also usually cheaper then reserving 2 separate hotel rooms.

Any ideas?

i know there is a 2 bedroom villa at Banyan Tree in Sanya. but being Banyan Tree... its pretty expensive.

Try Allamanda in Phuket Laguna .. they have some nice two bedrooms.

Have stayed there before and while this particular resort is basic, it shares facilities with four or five others (ask if you can still use facilities... policies seem to change very now and then).

Should add ... basic as in no spa / upscale facilities. Has a nice pool and decent restaurant or two.
