Visas on arrival for Vietnam and Cambodia?

We're flying in to Ho Chi Minh City and the getting boat to Phnom Penh, have British passports. Is it possible to get visas on arrival at these locations?

    Thanks

For Vietnam, you need to get a visa in advance - either the consulate in Wanchai or online.

For Cambodia, I think you can get visa on arrival, but make sure you have the correct amount in US$.

    Hi,

Yes the visa for Cambodia is available on arrival. Be sure to carry one or two passport size photos and I think it is USD 25 - 30 per person.

Done a bit of research on this and foun you can get a visa on arrival in Vietnam if you arrive by air, have to arrange a visa approval letter in advance. I'm thinking of doing this as it will save two trips to the consulate. Has anyone done it?
