I have some hours to spend at the airport as I will be in transit (but will have checked out) - my home is just too far away and its not worth the effort to go home. I was wondering if there is anything interesting to do at the airport (from about 11am to 4pm). I understand there is a movie theatre there now. Has anyone been?

Yes, cinema is OK, its in Terminal 2.

Other option, head to Tung Chung. Have the curry buffet at the Novotel and wander around Citygate. That should kill a few hours.
