Phuket Beach/Resort/Hotel Recommendations

Hey all,

I'm finally making my trip to Phuket soon (the last one was delayed for a while).

I want to stay on or near Kata Beach. Any good recco's for staying on or very near to the beach there. Not sure if it's possible but I'd like to stay under 650hkd per night.

Any ideas?

Try to check out phuket.com find hotel section in kata area. am sure you ll find it. I stayed in HIlton in Karon beach before which is a nice hotel with 4 diff. swimming pools...I bought package from travel agency. so it was a great deal!
