Just saw an advertisement in today's Standard that Air Pacific have (after a 6 month delay) launched direct flights between HK and Nadi.

Air Pacific seems to indicate that it will be a twice weekly service.
The fares are supposed to start at HK$3,888 all in, but I suspect these will be severely limited.

Understand that when (or if) they do make it here, they will be looking for rights to (southern) India to provide a more direct route than they currently offer to Fijians of Indian ethnicity. The frequency is going to have to be much better than that though.
