    Exchange currency

I will be travelling from Beijing to Hong Kong. I have USD in my account here in Bank of China (Beijing). Would it be better if I exchange USD to HKD here before I leave or I should just bring USD/RMB and exchange it to HKD later in Hong Kong Airport? Thanks for your help.

if safety is not an issue, i guess the rate of exchange is always better with bank than those money exchange agencies in airport

Better still, won't it be easier for you to use your ATM card to withdraw money from you account? It will give you better exchange rate and it is much safer than carrying all that cash on you. If you use Bank of China ATM machine to make withdrawals in HK, it is free.

As an experienced traveler, I am sure you know to bring some emergency cash to tie you over in case the ATMs are closed for maintenance or your card just simply doesn't work. I always do and God knows how many times it has saved me. ATMs are not the most reliable
resources for cash especially during the wee hours of the day.
