China visa - reissue / expiry

    Sh!t... my 3-year multiple entry visa expires in August.

    F.A.O. bdw:

    When is your (old) visa expiring?

    dreadnought - are you a permanent resident? If yes, just apply for an APEC card...

    You're right, I forgot about that. Heck now I even remember saying that I would in another thread!

    If you apply for it now it should be ready well before your current visa expires

    Well first one had a month to run but company was doing a renewal of China visas at the time, second had several months left but changed it as was having problems with previous company and didn't want any issues crossing border - also so I could give previous manager middle finger!

    My old one is still valid till end of May. So about a month overlap between the two visas. Interestingly, they did not stamp CANCELLED on top of the old one, meaning I have two valid visas for China for the next month.
