    Booked!

    But not paid yet...

Just called them, tried to negotiate a bit, couldn't get them to budge - so it's $300 per lane per hour, plus $10 each for shoes - couldn't even get the guy to throw in the shoes. And I've got to pay up front - I'll go into the alley today or tomorrow and give them my card... was hoping I could get them to agree to take a smaller deposit, or to take the card but not charge until Sunday, but he really wasn't in a negotiating mood...

I've booked three lanes for now - got 14 confirmed people, if I can count right, with a few unconfirmed, and a few possible people who haven't posted yet - so I think/hope it might go to 4 lanes. I think 4 lanes would be nice, since it should give us 2 pairs - our own space.

So, it's going to be meeting at the station at just before 3 - say, aim for 10 to - then heading in for a couple of hours of bowling. And the losers pay for beer...

    Hi,

Room for 2 more amateurs this Sunday? Sounds like fun!

From what I've read in the thread, it'll work out something like $60 an hour per person or so, right?

    Chris

Two more should be no problem

To make it absolutely clear, the price will be between $120 and $150 per person (depending on the final person-to-lane ratio) for 2 hours, plus $10 for shoes. They won't take a booking for less than 2 hours, so that's the minimum...
