Just read the thread to the billiards - wow, can it be that complicated!! Im new to HK and hoping to get out and hook up with people outside of work network. Enjoy a beer and decent game of pool - where is best to go? (The idea of having to queue for hours to get on busy tables wasnt that exciting)

Yeah , I agree. lets drop the technical bull sugar, and tell you were the best places are in HK. The best Pool hall in the country is of course Joe's Billiards, (who also do food and drinks, plus have all the Cue equipment for sale),2nd floor, Kings Hotel, Jaffee st, Wan Chai. The next best, is the Billiard House, at Whampoa Gardens, near the big ship made into a shopping plaza. I play 9 ball on Pro tour in about 20 countries across the world and hold a World Record in the game, which is to date, remained undefeated (This Guinness World TV movie can be seen at my website) and whenever I pass thru HK there, thats the two places I train at.
