We all thought you'd just disappeared... Glad to hear that wasn't the case. I've uploaded the few pictures I took (and the ones that actually came out ok) here:

Looks like they're kinda in reverse order (the order I batch uploaded them), so you may want to sort by filename to get them in the order they were taken. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks for posting pictures. Looks good although many didn't turn out due to that stupid fog.

Actually it would be kinda cool to get together again and attack another part of the lantau trail. 0r even for for the tallest summit in Hong Kong.

Hey guys this is the most amazing thing i have done in a very long time. It was really exciting... felt like i am going to no where land where i could not see where i was going or the where i came from... but just the steps... cheers to all those who climbed and the two active climbers who took care of me Chris and Johnny ( i guess the name is correct) ... Man it takes a lot of courage to climb at night... coz every step u take u might be thinking you might step on to a rattle... we saw one but was harmless... Cheers to all the worm hunters too eheheheh... All together Chris thank you for organising a wonderful time and yes we survived !!!!

Wow .. that is an amazing number of people who showed up.

In the mean time, some of us were being incredibly lazy and having a few pints and a curry in Wanchai on Friday.

Well done - guys and gals.. very very brave...

Seems like rotten luck to be hit with thunder & fog on the night that you were hiking - when it has been "clear as" every other day and night..

Views would have been incredible otherwise...

    Hey everyone!

Just wanted to say thanks for coming, it all turned out pretty well bar the weather, and it was great how many people came along!

The most memorable part for me was all the hysterical screaming as we wrestled with extreme biodiversity on the summit! I never knew so many critters could share one mountain top!

I may organise another attempt in the autumn when there's less chance of fog... I dunno about anyone else, but I felt mighty self-righteous all weekend after doing something sporty at the start.

Great meeting everyone - here are my photos - a few good ones in fact!

I'll let the photos and comments speak for themselves.

    Chris

PS. A big hello to the breakfast club! You know who you are, hardcore!

Great idea! I enjoyed reading about it and really wish I could have joined you. But I am 10,000 miles away in the midwestern US
