I think it's a case of, not at that price! Especially when they add 10 % on top.

Getting 6 pieces of oysters for that price at Langham is a bit steep. I don't know how different Tasmanian (?) oysters are from the oysters they usually serve, but the "normal" ones I have tasted at Langham are already good. So anyway, for $300++ on a weekday night, you can have a buffet at Langham.. meaning -- ALL the oysters you can eat plus a whole lot more (Japanese, dessert buffet.. yum!)

Most 5-star hotels in HK have absolutely atrocious oysters at the buffets. The Tasmanian ones should be significantly better.

Great Oyster Deal at Dot Cod

I was at Dot Cod last Wednesday and they have $10 Oyster Night every Wednesday after 6pm.

From 5-8pm is Happy Hour and they offer 2 for 1 Carlsbergs and house wine.

    That is a good deal.
