    Looking for Persian community

    Hi,
my best friend is going to visit me from the 20th March onwards. This is going to be the first time she can't celebrate muslim new year with her family and friends. I'd like to take her to a persian party or at least a restaurant at the 21st of March to surprise her. Does anybody know any persians in Hong Kong?
    Cheers, Rebecca

a Persian could also be a rug.
The Parsi deduction was elementary as March 21st to a muslim would be 11th of Safar while to a Parsi it would be Navrose Mubarak and a chance to overdose on chicken dhansak

    Really?

I know this post is old, but someone needs to set things straight for others who happen to read this forum. Seriously some of these responses are ridiculous... I'm Iranian, or as some like to call us - Persian.

Eid e Norouz has nothing to do with being or not being Muslim... It's simply a Persian tradition. As for the term Parsi that's just a term for Farsi (the language we speak).

Hi Hoda, your words are true, Nouroz has nothing to do with Islam. For your info, Parsi is a group of Zoroastrian Iranians who moved hundreds years before to India, they called still Parsi and their relegion is Zoroastrian. Their traditions are a bit diffrent to the Zoroastrians in Iran.
