    Bar hopping

    Hey everyone,

Anyone want to meet up and go hit up some bars tonight? I'm thinking LKF or Wan Chai, haven't decided yet, but feel free to throw out suggestions. I'm happy to meet new people.

A little about me: I am a 22 male from the United States. I a work in Central and I have been in Hong Kong for a little over two weeks.

Hey - what time you thinking?

I may be a bit old (30 male from UK), but I could be up for a few in Wanchai.

I have also been here exactly 2 weeks!

    Hello!

As a suggestion, there are many Australia Day celebrations on tonight.
Hubby and I are off to 13 Old Bailey Street in Soho, otherwise there are a few bars in the Lan Kwai Fong area celebrating tonight.

    Cheers,

    Kim

Why would a seppo and a Brit want to go out with a bunch of whinging convicts?

For normal stuff, the band they have at Spicy Fingers from 10pm is better than most around town at the moment if that's your thing. The one in Amazonia is a bit dire.

This brit is not at work tomorrow, so any excuse for a beer! Be it with convicts or not...

Right then - this whinging pom has just decided to get out of my sh*t hole of a studio, and is heading for a few beers down lochart rd.

If anyone has the inclination to sit with a grumpy, lonely, overweight brit give me a call / sms on 6081 3023. :-)

I'm leaving now... It would be rude not to see the new year in style - chinese or not!

    Cheers,

    Chris

And if no-one does, I'm sure you will find plenty of gorgeous ladies offering to sit with you for "just one beer $20".

hmmm, apparently some places will be closed for the New Year (WTF???)

Anyway, I think I'm going to head to LKF around 9:30PM since there has got to be some places open there. I am an American but I would be happy to celebrate Australia Day!

Anyone is welcome to join me- digits are: 9161-5098

The 'one' in Amazonia is two - or at least was last night. Look at the wall.

I'm assuming by dire you're referring to the ones with the girl vocalist.

Stick around an hour for Icebox who are the best band of that kind in Hong Kong and have been for a couple of years.

Chinese New Year night isn't a great day to go out clubbing. It usually feels pretty flat.
