The funniest thing about Jook Sings in Toronto is they'll tell other non-asian what asians are like and what we do and practically every tradition they know. But at the same time they know NOTHING lol Seriously after landing in Hong Kong Chinese in their native habitat are nothing like the Chinese back in Toronto, most especially the Jook Sing styles.

I don't see the term banana as bad, my dad used to call me it all the time, its just a funny visual image to me, I've never looked into it in depth like this. Never heard of 'jook sing'.

A friend got called a Mars Bar once (black on the outside, white on the inside....he did not like that!
