born & raised in montreal. lived on & off in ottawa during my co-op days, lived near toronto during grad school, back to ottawa for a couple yrs after that. in asia (taipei & hk) for a couple of yrs, nyc for a few yrs, sf for a few mths, and now here. so confirmed cbc, but a woman of the world.

technically speaking, i'm 4th generation canadian. the canadian chinese exclusion act was enacted while my great-grandfather & grandfather lived there.
