Skills that are basically non-existant in Hong Kong are software design and testing skills. In most of Hong Kong's SMBs, software development is a total chaos. So once you get a job offer, you should emphasize on such skills in order to convince the immi dept to approve your working visa. Actually it is not that difficult to come up with a 'special skill' in IT, since the immi dept does not have the necessary technical competence to verify it.
