the HR girl at my company always said it's not to ur advantage to take a no-pay leave on a 30-day month cuz it's more expensive than to take a no-pay leav on a 31-day month. didnt make sense to me but that's how it works here.

always start work on a friday or before a holiday and always end on a monday or one day after a holiday.
