I need help!!! need to get a job in HK asap..

    Hello all
I have been checking the forum, and you all guys sound realli helpfull....
    I`ll explain you my situation:
Im in Spain right now, my gf is from HK, shes back to HK, and Ill have to get a job in HK to be able to stay together.
Im spanish, I have a degree in hotel and catering management, more than 8 years experience in the hotel business, I was guest service manager in a huge resort in the caribbean, i speak spanish of course, english, french , italian and portuguese......I would love to know the real chances of getting a job in hk, anything realli ,at the beginning, cause i know ill manage to get sth better once im there, but to start and move to hk, anything would be fine. I know getting a job b4 moving to hk, is nearly impossible, and as a tourist, i can be there without any visa up to 3 months...do you think i should jsut go there for 1 month, and try to get a job once there?? is it possible to get the visa once im there if any company is interested???
Thanks a lot for your help in advance
    Edu

I think the hotel business in HK is massive. You have many top 5/6 star hotels in HK and are always constantly on the look for staff. With your experience I shouldn't think you will have a problem getting a job with a decent hotel. If not, you can always try Macau, the former Portugese colony, where the hotel and resort trade is definitely on the move and ever growing. The issue is probably whether your employer will help with your working visa application. It is usually expected that applicants have a valid work permit or are HK residents when they apply. But you can call or email them first. Look on the following www.classifiedpost.com.hk
    Good luck!!!
