Cricket Club Selling Event Comment?

Anyone been there? What’s the customer flow? I am thinking to join either the HK Hawkers Winter Fair or Cricket Club Garden Party. Any one had experience ? is it worth ? Weekend or Weekeday is better? Since the rent is expensive. I am only aiming to breakeven.

I think that the thread starter desires to display his wares at a forthcoming bazar, and for some unexplained reason does not want to profit from the venture.

I alas have not flogged trinkets to the masses for eons and thus cannot venture an opinion on the eneterprise

Last year I believe everything was blowing in the wind on the lawns where the sellers were, and they were struggling to keep their wares and table cloths from flying off. Might have just been a bad wind day. Mileage also depends on what you're trying to sell - some things the clubwallas are just not into, particularly on a windy wintry day. The people I know who ran a table there just broke even and aren't going to try this year.

The Hawkers event at the Cricket Club is on Nov 14. Have never been.
