Work visa appeal

Hi all!

I have just been refused a work visa on the usual grounds - no special contribution and preference for a local hire... My sponsor is appealing the decision and I would like to ask how does the process look, as there seems to be very little information about this. Is it a repeat of the process?

Has anybody been thorugh the process ? With success, hopefully...

as far as i know ther needs to be a significant reason why you should appeal. by this i do not mean that you cannot, but you need to present to immig a significant reason why they should change their minds about the application. so usually this means a significant change in the application.

i wish you luck, but in all honesty, i wouldn't get my hopes up.
