Hi,
I will qualify soon with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), what are the opportunities in HK? Is it possible to get into investment banking or will I only be limited to the major accountancy firms in HK? Anyone who has made the leap from qualifying in England and moved to HK?

you can qualify for investment banking job if your father happened to own an unlisted company somewhere that has market value of at least 1 billion pound and most of your uncles are even richer than that.
other than that, i don't see how you expect people to answer your kind of question.

Before you get funny with your clever replies do some research.
Chartered accountants are in demand in London from IBs for back office jobs, I am asking if this is the case with HK IBs as well.
If you don't have anyone good to say then don't say it at all. Does it make you look good, NO it makes you out to be an idiot.
