    To answer the question from the first post, yes , it is to your advantage so you should mention in the covering letter that you do not require company sponsorship to work in Hong Kong (if that is the case - other details can wait until interview stage).

    We've received quite a few applications in the past couple of weeks for the openings at GeoExpat. Just a word of advice, you want to make an impression in your cover letter, but make sure its a positive one. A couple we received were so rude that we didn't bother reading past the first couple of lines. Here's a snippet from one:

    "Before we waste each other's time, I am looking for......"

    you are currently have a position open on jobs DB and I am perfect for this position so why dont you place an email on this job so u can better receive messages that can give you more detail on your candidates. I AM PROFICIENT IN COPY WRITING AND EDITING PLUS CAN MAKE MY OWN WEBSITES........... regards

    Fiana, Writing in capital is no offence for the kind of NIS mentioned by KIA and capital/ small/ mix/ cursive kind of alien rules should not be applied to kind of english used in that quote... What do you say?
