Getting from Wan Chai to Sha Tin

    Hi All,

I live in Wan Chai (above the MTR station). I have a new role that will need me to get to Sha Tin (JPMorgan). Can anyone advise what is the fastest way there on public transport?

    Many Thanks!

    MTR

Wanchai - Admiralty - Mongkok -Kowloon Tong - Sha Tin

    33 minutes.

Thanks for the quick response! There is no one bus service that goes from WC to ST? That would be preferable over the MTR change overs! =)

For peak hours : what Jimbo said.
For non-peak hours : personally I'd pay extra $60 and grab a taxi to HungHom and take the single train up. A *lot* more convenient and a little bit faster.

    公共小巴灣仔至沙田線 - 香港巴士大典

if you want to know buses, go on KMB

Bus 170 will make it also, i ride this from CWB to Sha tin. (The MTR is faster, though, and not affected by traffic)

Getting to Hung Hom and taking the KCR (MTR East Rail) is probably the least hassle way.

If you don't want to stump up the $60 dollars for a cab then try the

    - 104 bus from immigration tower which unfortunately this has a convoluted route to the tunnel
    - 101 bus from O'brian Road which goes through Canal street

From Hung Hom to your office is around 30 mins

The 101 probably looks the best bet. If only there was a rapid bus from Wanchai to Hun Hom it would be as busy as the rapid bus going in the reverse direction
