Hey guys,
quick question, how long does it take you usually to get a promotion in Hong Kong (Banking Industry) ? Not talking about Junior positions. Any response would be great.

13cm for the string so I think that means 15 months (give or take a couple of days) for the promotion.
a quarter past three I think it was next week when I plan to remember checking
Where I work (not banking) promotions are tied to performance. If you suck, you can wait til kingdom come and still not be promoted. I pray this is also how they do things in banking.
This is not a good forum question. How would we know your organization?
The place for this question is with your boss. Ask how he sees how things are going with you and ask about career opportunities with the firm. Also, what is the experience at that organization? Do they promote within or hire from the outside?
We can only go by the information you give us. The question was way too vague as it depends on a lot of things such as.
Management structure
Performance of your peers
Your performance
Market conditions
Do you have Photo's of the boss in a compromising position in amazonia
Etc etc, Only those within your organisation know that.
