Anywhere from $0 - $100k per month. Everything depends on:

    1. How badly you're wanted in the role
    2. Your negotiating skills

When negotiating housing allowance a few other factors, in addition to how bad they want you, are considered, although not conclusive. The size of your family is a big one. A good approach is to determine what type of housing you want/need, then base your negotiations on what you expect it to cost in HK. You are more likely to get a bigger housing allowance if you can really articulate why you need it (unless you are a huge superstar, then they'll give you just about anything you ask for).

    Housing Allowance

Most importantly I think it depends on whether you are coming as an Expat or Local. As an expat you will have more say and family size and level in the firm are the major determining factors (and will fluctuate between the 0-100 odd K). Locals tend to get a set allowance which for that level I would see at being in the 45K bracket.
