Office work days in Hong Kong (in professional services)

Hi All

I read somewhere that it is common for offices to be open for half days on Saturdays in Hong Kong. I am in financial/economic consulting, and wanted to know whether this was likely to be the case in my profession?

I assume not, but would like to be sure!

Wouldn't think so. The only person I know with an office based job who works on Sat, works for a very local firm in shipping.

quite common I think to work saturdays if its a local company - you better ask...

Local companies, mostly likely yes, International companies, rarely.
