Haha, seriously. People here have got to let loose a little bit. Why are people here acting as the over-lords of the internetz?

Just give private tutoring a try if you can. Seriously, its the first step that is the hardest. Once you get a couple of stable clients, referrals will come and once you have more experience you can apply for English institutes other charge s higher price. You will find that people in the rest world, unlike the internetz, are actually much more sympathetic. I was in a similar situation, albeit at an older age and my clients saw my sincerity and did everything they could to help me and give referrals. You sound like a down-to;earth guy and you're in for a good cause so people will understand.

I still believe in being a kid while you have a chance. But if you can't, work hard and do your parents proud. Good luck!

You know what Nicole? In my honest opinion, you are one of the nicest people in this thread. When I say "tutoring", I'm not asking to be a professor at Harvard. All I'm asking for is the chance to do what you're doing. I've learnt a whole bunch of useful essay techniques that I'm probably only going to need for around four more years before I chuck it into the bin. Is it too much to ask for to teach the stuff I learnt to other?

Even if I were to work at a centre, the only difference would be that it'd be a class not a single kid. Why is everyone going crazy about how tough life and getting a job is?

I mean, carang, if you have so many "more qualified than me" people just lining up to be hired, why bother posting when you could be hiring? You've already trampled on every piece of dignity I have, here's a shredder, why don't you put it through that? And while you're at it, you may as well slit my throat. I'm only a 15 year old who still has to wait a month to get his grades, what do I know?

It's like you people are telling me to die young...but not before I finish that Korean drama I've been watching, Cha Youn Hee and Bang Gwi Nam make a lovely couple, if I do say so myself :3
Before I forget, Nicole, thank you for posting here, it's really nice to know that others in the same situation can succeed too, 150/hr? I'm practically drooling over here XD

now, all my advice is is this: grow up.

if you read my posts, there is absolutely NOTHING in them that is nasty. on the contrary, i tried to post helpful suggestions.

(tried to do a multiple quote posting, but can't figure that out...)
