Hi All,
I'm new to the forum, and in some way, Hong Kong as well. I'm currently searching for Finance jobs but am thinking that I should also look at odd jobs on the side to help my piggy bank... I was wondering if anyone in the forum had worked in something else before they found their "proper" job, and in what areas would it be easier to find casual jobs in (babysitting, bar, shop, language teachers, movie cameo, etc?)? It would be great to hear all your experiences and what works and not here!
A bit of background: I speak ok Cantonese and Mandarin (but can't read or write), and Spanglish! As for odd experience, did a 2 month stint at a bar after I graduated from school and also X'mas staff in shops during HS but those were yonks ago. And somehow I do possess an unused CELTA (tefl from Cambridge).
I have a HK ID so no visa issues.
Thanks all in advance!!
