Health professionals working for Health Authority ?!? - Help ! Radiographers/Nurses?!

    Hi

Does anyone work for the HA?? Ideally Radiographers but any newly qualified people from the UK ?

I'm tempted to apply for a job over there but the salary is 24000 HKD per month and I gather that I'd be struggling to live a decent life.

I wanted to hear from anyone who could tell me about the standard of hospitals, working conditions, hospital accommodation, life as a healthcare professional etc... including the language barrier and working hours.

Any help or advice would be great as the cut off for applications is only a few days away !

    Hope to hear from someone!!!

How much would you earn in the UK and where do you live in the UK?

What kind of life do you class as a 'decent life'...?

You'd pay very little tax on 24k and if you get subsidized accommodation you could be quite comfortable...

Presumably your pay-scale would only go up?

First things first, how are your Cantonese skills, and do you have the right to work here?

Maybe I'm missing something, but I doubt that the HA will be faffing around getting employment visas for entry-level radiographers.
