My final Bachelor's thesis Consumer Marketing in Hong Kong (or Shanghai)

Hi there!

My name is Sue Sue and currently I am a third year Commercial Economics student at Rotterdam University in the Netherlands. As a Cantonese Dutch marketeer-to-be I am seeking for an opportunity to conduct my final Bachelor's thesis Consumer Marketing in Hong Kong (or Shanghai) from February 2014 onwards.

It is not an internship, but I would like to do a full time research for a consumer goods company in Hong Kong. Not only do I want to learn more, but I would also take the opportunity to start my career in Hong Kong/Asia.

I have heard that seeking a company that's willing to help is extremely difficult, since companies don't easily give information to foreigners/strangers. From my family's experiences is the best to roll in by connections.

So therefore I want to kindly ask whether anyone knows potential professionals or corporations that I could conduct my thesis for in anyway, or if anyone has some useful advice?
