Entry Level - Trading or Risk Management Jobs

    Hi Guys,

I am a recent MBA in Finance from a top institute in Asia. I am currently based in singapore and looking for for entry level positions in trading or risk management. Appreciate if any one can provide any leads or contacts in this regard.

    Thanks!

"trading or risk management" these are two different things...would help if you disclose a bit more what you want and what is your background...

Uhhm....the fact that you weren't recruited into an Analyst program should probably tell you something.....The front office entry role will not be and easy one to find (especially in this market) and the fact that you didn't get your MBA from a Top 10 program.

Risk management is a very different beast as already mentioned, but with no experience its a VERY...and I mean VERY tough market to get into right now. Look at the news kid....markets are volatile, people are being layed off and there are a lot of qualified candidates out there who have product/market knowledge and are willing to take less money and switch careers from former Front office to risk management, etc.... Good Luck.

well i do understand that markets are bad and certainly this isnt a good time to finish MBA. I have some relevant experience in credit risk and at this stage I am only looking to put a foothold in the market. Appreciate your response.
