    What medical profession earns more?

Hi guys, I'm currently a undergraduate student in University. I go to a technological school and I major in biomedical engineering. I'm aspiring to re-locate back to Hong Kong (the motherland) when I finish school if the right offer comes around. Realistically, would I earn much if I just went back to Hong Kong after finishing my bachelor's? Or would that not be suffice?

Also, if I choose the graduate school route, what would be better: MBA, MD, or OD (Doctor of Optometry)? Thanks guys!

Surely you should be studying what you enjoy and where your interests are.

Why would you choose a path based on what you what get paid.

It would be an awful mistake to go down the path because of the money and you hate the job you are in - it will only mean working for 30-40 years in something that probably pays better but you don't enjoy.

Haha, indeed, I most likely won't go into business, but that remains an option just in case my primary one fails. I'm versatile enough that I feel I could do anything I really wanted (as long as it's not playing an instrument since requires talent lol). I'm just an avid learner, so my main interests lie within science. But overall, what is a graduate school degree worth in Hong Kong anyway? Thanks for your reply

The grad school degree (I assume you mean the MBA) will only mean something if you have valid experience to back it up. These days MBA's are cheap by the dozen and too many people go do it soon after their batchleors. I think it is worth more if you go grab some work experience and then go do the MBA - something like an EMBA.

    They are worth something.

What is an EMBA? Also in reference to a grad school degree, I was also including an MD or an OD. thanks for your helpful knowledge in queuing me in!

LOL, indeed, but honestly, my interests are varied, so really, I feel I can be anything I want. Money is always a factor, I mean I could be doing what I love but if I can't make ends meet with it then I can't really take it into consideration. In my aforementioned posts I spoke of business and science (which is REALLY varied) but yeah.
