Advice : salary for part time assistant teacher

Hi guys,

need some advice please, I'm currently working as an English supply teacher for 1200hkd per day....it's just a supply work wherein I need to go if the teacher is on sick leave. I have been doing supply work since 2013.

I wanted to know what could be the salary of a part time assistant teacher..working hours 8.30-12.30...every Mon,wed,Friday....I have an interview as an assistant teacher and not sure what to say when they ask me for my salary expectation....i have a Bachelor degree in Business Management but not any specific teaching qualification (tefl,tesol etc...) but have enough of experience working with young children....

All suggestions and advice are welcomed....

I'm not really sure, but is this at an actual school (primary?) or just an education center? I think maybe the $150+ ballpark, but hopefully someone else knows from experience.

Part-time assistant teacher (called associate teacher) would earn between $8-9K (depending on hours worked) and full-time would earn around 15K. This is based on working in a local school.

thanx for for ur reply, yes it's an actual school but pre school kindergarten (snip) ...I was also considering the same amount around $150-$200 per hour....
