Buy side recruitment

Hi there,

Having recently taken a gap year to travel around Asia, I am looking to relocate to Hong Kong and find work in the financial sector. Ideally I would like to work for a buy side institution. I have a good undergraduate degree, a few years experience and levels of and two of the CFA designation. Can anyone please recommend how I can go about finding such a role? I am already using efinancialcareers, jobsdb and careerjet and have sent my CV to a number of recruitment companies but am wondering if there is something I haven't picked up on?!

Attend happy hours and networking events and just get yourself known out here. Check out Oriented.com and chamber of commerce social events etc and also not forgetting to get business cards made up with your contact details on and a brief outline of what you do.
