    HK Taxes- Rental Reimbursement

My employer reimburses my rental expense up to 40%of my salary. So my assessable salary (on the IR56) is reduced by roughly 40%. Yay!
But on the tax form- there's a spot for Total Value of all Places of Residence Provided.

The examples on the hk.gov site work out to a negative number for me - So I must be doing something wrong!

So- how do I calculate the number that goes in that box?

    Help!

    Thanks

You don't calculate it. You input the same number as your employer put on the employer return, which they should have given you a copy of.

But where is that number in the ir56? The income number I see. But the value of places ... where is that?
