HKIA Membership Advice, Jobs for Non-Local Architects in Hong Kong

Hi Guys,
I am new in Hong Kong and looking for a job in the architectural field. I am a Registered Architect back in my home country. I also have three years field experience and a Masters Degree in Architecture. I am fluent in English, very basic in Cantonese and no knowledge of Mandarin.

1. What kind of skills are companies looking for these days?
2. Will I have better luck hiring a recruitment agency?
3. What other posts should I apply for? and what salary range should I expect?
4. I plan to apply for an Associate Member of HKIA. Is that an option for me?(my university is not accredited by HKIA) And will that help me secure a job?

I have applied for the position of Architectural Assistant in a few firms but unfortunately, no response.

Any guidance regarding these questions would be more than helpful.
