I'm about to graduate but the field I was studying just doesn't suit me. I find bartending an interesting profession, but where do I start? Should I attend bartending school or just go straight to bars and ask to be an apprentice?

Mix
Wah la, you are a bartender. lol
You can get a little book on how to mix some common drinks. Most people will order RED or WHITE wine, a bottle of beer, or a liquor + mixer. Then you only need to know how to make some of the most common drinks such as Margarita, Mojito, etc. Not all places serve all of those drinks anyways.
Perhaps bartender isn't the right word but I want to become a mixologist
Hong Kong Sommelier and Bartending and Training College
