Finding job as fresh graduate with master degree

I've always wanted to work in HK, and now that I'm about to graduate next summer I really wanna give it a try and start a career in HK.
So I'm about to graduate with a master degree in Industrial engineering and management in one of the best universities in Sweden. I want to work with something related to my major which would be supply chain/logistics. But many people graduating from this program also work as business consultat in Sweden, so I'm actually quite flexible regarding the working area.

I do speak and write some cantonese as well as mandarin, since I've had exchange study in mainland, but also because I'm Swedish born Chinese.

However, I'm concerned how difficult it will be to find a job in HK. Since I'm fresh graduate I don't really mind if I get paid less, as long as my salary will increase over time.
When I'm looking for jobs in Linkedin it seems like they usually require 2-5 years of working experience, which I don't have. However, I have a master degree and that is maybe enough. Is it still worth to apply that kind of job?

Do you have any recommendation how to find a job in HK? Any hopes?

You have to look at it with the immigration department perspective. Do you have skills that are needed and that people in HK do not have? If so, then there might be a chance.

However, for fresh grads it's very unlikely that this will work.

Finding a job in HK is hard for expats. So imagine if you are looking for it when not living abroad. Just work a few years in Europe for a company that has operations in HK, then get transferred there.

That was something I was afraid of. Kind of got my dream crushed.
I'm not young anymore and don't feel like wasting some years in Europe just to eventually get transferred to HK.

For you guys that is working in HK. Did you get transferred or did you just applied for a job in HK after few years of work?

Nice! would you mind telling me more about it? What's your major and did you find it directly after your graduation? You can PM me if you want to tell me more.

You mention that you are Swedish born Chinese. Do you have Right of Abode and any family in HK who are willing to let you stay with them? If so, and you really want to come here so much, then you should be able to apply for grad jobs just like anyone else.

If not, it is harder, as others have stated, because your employer would have to go through the hassle of applying for a visa for you and prove that your role cannot be filled by a local and if you don't have anyone to stay with, the cost of renting a half-decent room or apartment is potentially prohibitive.

You should consider trying the engineering grad schemes for companies who like hiring those with a Western background - Swire Properties, Jardine Engineering and CLP all have schemes, for example.

the visa isn't as hard as you think. i got an accounting job as a fresh grad with just a bachelors, the visa process took about 1 month, you'd think there are plenty of accountants in hk right?
